its been a while since i have blogged about work but i have something to share today. Ive been slacking on my workout but recently ive added a short exercise to my work day. I spend a good hour or so rendering a day and spend most of that hour surfing. the internet is pretty boring most of the time so instead i added crunches. along with that i added another piece of furniture my office, an exercise ball! depending on how much stuff needs to be render, i get about 4 sets of 30 crunches. its not much but it helps keep me wake and makes me feel good about myself :D. its also very motivating to lose weight

i decided to start making lunch at work. today i grilled a 1/2 lb of chicken breast on the george foreman grill that we have here at work. pat dry, salt and herb/spices rubbed in, butter on the grill 15mins, done. the chicken was surprisingly moist, it was decently seasoned (lawry’s seasoned salt), and im ridiculously full. hopefully this is a good diet, because i got 5.5lbs to go from that tray of chicken i bought from fresh n ez.. lol

brb, got to clean the grill now -_-

so as an incentive to boost morale my boss put in a real gym! were still piecing it all together but here is a little preview. i just got finished doing some core and back workouts. also sparred a little with my boss.

its so hard to stay motivated… and really with out motivation you cant stay focused, so on and so forth. its a never ending pit of doom. seriously! once you loose motivation, you zone out into this cadence of repetitive mind numbing tasks. for me its looking at the same sites over and over. i havent really found anything that helps besides naps. i need to implement siestas into my work day. :)

ps. chocolate seems to help too lol…

im home, tired, beat, exhaust. really all i want to do is relax and unwind, but i cant even do that. it doesnt matter where i am, i cant get away from the stress. im going to do my best to sleep, and im definitely going in to work late. to my fellow working class citizens, i commend you in your everyday struggles. 7:03pm, were back in the rooms relaxing. pretty good show today, just as busy as yesterday. but this time i was running on half the sleep… i didnt get to bed until 2am and was awaken at 6:30am. on top of that i went 8 hours on 1 crescent sandwich. now im waiting for my 12” philly cheese steak.. drooll

its midnight and im still up… i need to get up super early tomorrow and work the show for 8 hours then go to a company dinner. hopefully i will have enough energy tomorrow. im feeling ill prepared but im excited to see what we can do at this show. lots of big opportunities for us. wish me luck.

been a while since ive blogged about work. for good reason tho! ive been really really busy! were getting ready to release the beta of our software at a trade show in las vegas next week. im the event coordinator.. which means i need to take care of everything. on top of that ive been putting in 2 extra hours a day for the last 2 days. but i have to say, for once i actually feel like were moving forward. the booth is looking pretty sweet, and the software has gone a long ways since its first alpha. on top of that i got a sweet ass bonus :D CANON 5D.

hum, in the pass week there really hasnt been much to note. but we did get some new stuff in the office.

today was the longest friday of my life. must be the combination of sleep deprivation and exhaustion but i honestly used like 15% brain power all day. i must have zoned out for 3 hours of my 7ish hour day. on top of that, when the day was actually over and i was looking forward to a nice and ez drive home, i was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for over a hour. i back tracked twice just to see if the 60 would be a better chooses. so when i finally got back on to the 60, it was backed up all the way to the 57.. it was not a good day. at least from the hours of 8am - 5:30pm…

a few post back i proclaimed my love for rock climbing. so yesterday me and my co-worker mike went to Hangar 18 Climbing Gym. i was super pumped all day to check out the gym. its about 8 miles from my office, and takes about 15mins on surface streets. not bad, considering there are only a few climbing gyms that are local to me. it was really nice and the people there are cool. i spent $19 for the day pass and some shoes, 2 hours at the gym, and ended up with RAW hands. now im at work trying to type this blog with sensitive hands lol. this might be the new work out for me if i can handle the hand pains. either way i had fun bouldering for the first time. trying to get my other co-workers to go, as well as my boss so we can make him look like a fool.

so i missed a few days, but for good reason. ive been working very hard. so hard that they had to upgrade my title from graphic designer to developer :D which hopefully means i get a bigger pay :D which ive been waiting for, for a few years now :/ lol. the new mouse is fantastic! the tracking is quite nice. only gripe i have is the “z axis” tracking. anytime i lift the mouse the cursor goes downwards. which is really annoying because i have very little mouse space so lifting is a common thing. anyways, im looking forward to developing a new technique and hopefully it will be useful.
